Printing In-House
Have a 3D printer at your agency?
The Vault is built to help you get real value out of it with tested designs and ongoing updates.
Do not have a printer?
We offer a managed 3D printer rental program so you can print in-house without buying or maintaining equipment.
3D Rental Frequently Asked Questions
Is this a printer purchase?
No. This is a managed equipment program. You are not buying a printer. You are paying for reliable access, replacement coverage, and support without owning or maintaining hardware long term.
Why does this cost more than buying the printer outright?
Buying a printer means managing setup, tuning, maintenance, failures, downtime, and replacement. This program removes those responsibilities. If the printer fails, we ship a replacement so your workflow continues.
What maintenance is the agency responsible for?
Agencies are responsible for routine care such as cleaning, lubrication, and normal consumables like nozzles and build plates. These are standard tasks outlined by the manufacturer.
What happens if the printer breaks?
If a mechanical or electrical failure occurs, MountWorx ships a replacement printer. You return the original unit using provided packaging and we handle repair or warranty processing.
Is misuse or damage covered?
Damage caused by misuse, modification, or failure to perform routine maintenance is not covered under the replacement program.
Is filament included?
Yes. Each annual rental includes 2 kg of high heat resistant ASA filament. Additional filament can be purchased separately.
Who is this program best for?
Agencies that want predictable 3D printing output without managing hardware, repairs, or downtime.
Who should not use this program?
Departments looking for the cheapest printer or those who want to fully manage, modify, or repair their own equipment.
